Fair Housing
Last updated: November 3, 2026
My commitment
I follow the federal Fair Housing Act and the Florida Fair Housing Act, along with every state and local fair housing law that applies to my work. I give every buyer, seller, renter and visitor to this website equal professional service, and I make reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities.
Who the law protects
The federal Fair Housing Act (42 U.S.C. 3604) and the Florida Fair Housing Act (Florida Statutes section 760.23) make it illegal to discriminate in selling, renting or advertising homes because of:
- Race
- Color
- National origin
- Religion
- Sex
- Disability
- Familial status: living with children under 18, being pregnant, or getting custody of a child
I also don't discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital status, source of income, or any other characteristic protected by local law.
Market statistics on this website describe homes and sales, not residents. I describe homes and places, never who should live in them.
If you need to file a complaint
If you believe you have experienced housing discrimination, you may contact:
- U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity: 1-800-669-9777, or file a complaint online
- Florida Commission on Human Relations: 1-850-488-7082, or fchr.myflorida.com
You can also tell me or my brokerage directly. Email tyler@landonagent.com or call 321-800-5294. Contacting me never limits your right to go to HUD or the Commission.
Your next chapter, by the numbers.
Search the market, read the data, or talk to me. The numbers are the same either way.
